EcoBudget is designed to protect student privacy. We never ask students for their real name, email address, date of birth, phone number, school name, home address, or any other identifying information.
Nicknames: Students pick a nickname that is shown only to their teacher (if they joined a class). Please choose a nickname that does not reveal your real identity — avoid your full name, address, or other personal details.
Anonymous IDs: Each student record has an internal, randomly generated ID used only to save progress and scores. This ID is never shown to other students.
Teachers: A teacher can see nicknames and results only for students in their own classes. Teachers cannot see individual students who are not in one of their classes.
No public sharing: EcoBudget does not include advertising, public profiles, social messaging, or public leaderboards of individual students. Student-level results are never shared publicly.
